I got laid off, and needed a website to show my old work. Instead, I created new work: this pro bono campaign for Covenant House, an international street youth rehabilitation group.
On the whole, creative professionals, 25–40, do not donate to charities like Covenant House.
Homeless kids don’t have ad agencies. This campaign is my attempt to bring awareness to the fact that we all need to help out. It’s a cliché, but every little bit counts.
The idea is this: If a homeless child were my client, what would I create to make them money on the street using only cardboard and a marker?
